Scope of Work

Overview

We are looking for a Marine Jetty Surveyor to conduct inspections and assurance for marine terminals, jetty structures, loading arms, and associated systems used for tanker berthing and cargo operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structural and functional inspections of jetty facilities, fenders, bollards, loading arms, gangway systems, and associated marine equipment.
  • Perform jetty condition assessments, dimensional checks, and operational readiness verifications.
  • Inspect navigational aids and safety systems (lights, markers, mooring layouts, fire systems).
  • Prepare inspection reports, photographic evidence, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Verify compliance with marine terminal standards (OCIMF, ISGOTT, SIGTTO where relevant).
  • Liaise with terminal operations, marine pilots, cargo supervisors, and HSE teams.
  • Support pre-arrival, berthing, loading/unloading, and departure audits.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years experience in marine terminal, jetty inspection, or offshore marine operations.
  • Background in marine surveying, naval architecture, civil/marine engineering, or terminal operations.
  • Familiar with OCIMF standards, ISGOTT, jetty inspection best practices.
  • Experience with tanker operations or LNG/LPG terminals is an advantage.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.
