Scope of Work

Responsibilities

Design and Drafting:

You’ll be responsible for preparing detailed E&I designs using Aveva E3D software. This includes creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.

Collaborate with other design disciplines (such as piping, structural, and mechanical) to ensure seamless integration of E&I components into overall plant or facility designs.

Instrumentation and Control Systems:

Develop and design control systems, instrumentation loops, and field devices.

Specify and select appropriate instruments, sensors, and control elements based on project requirements.

Electrical Systems:

Design electrical distribution systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and cable tray layouts.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (such as NEC, IEC, or local regulations).

Instrumentation Systems:

Create instrumentation layouts, including instrument location plans, hook-up diagrams, and loop diagrams.

Understand process instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, control valves) and their integration into the overall system.

Project Coordination:

Work closely with project engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

Participate in design reviews and provide input for optimization and efficiency.

Software Proficiency:

Proficiency in Aveva E3D is essential. This software allows for 3D modeling, intelligent P&ID integration, and efficient collaboration across disciplines.

Familiarity with other design tools (such as AutoCAD, SmartPlant Instrumentation, or similar) may also be beneficial.
