Muhammad Harith Hanif A.

My name is Muhammad Harith Hanif bin Ahmad Johari. I am a graduate from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) with a Bachelors in mechanical engineering, with a major in asset integrity and reliability.

My key achievement's in my career include: 

• Project Planning : Involved in procurement planning for a collaboration project with Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB). I evaluated vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery time to order the necessary materials for the project. After selecting the most suitable vendors, I requested quotations and forwarded them to the procurement department to issue purchase orders. This process helped ensure that the materials were delivered on time, which was crucial in maintaining the project schedule and achieving on-time project completion.

• Protective coating testing : Successfully analyze the performance of protective coating by conducting salt spray test (ASTM B117), cyclic salt fog/UV exposure test (ASTM D5894) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) (ASTM G106) for Sea Horses Sdn. Bhd to be proposed to client's company.

• Protective coating analysis : Collaborated with Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) to study the performance of the coating when exposed to H2S solutions. This study involve site visits to Bakun HEP and successfully proposed a coating for 3 materials at 5 different locations which are excitation room, governor room, transformer, spillway, switchyard and warehouse. This effort provided valuable guidance to engineers in selecting appropriate coatings for their equipment on site. 

• SSI documentation for Hengyuan Refining Company (HRC) :  Efficiently prepared comprehensive documentation for the Special Scheme Inspection (SSI) of 155 static equipment, which was submitted to the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) for the renewal of the Certificate of Fitness (CF). The turnaround was completed on schedule due to the early submission and prompt approval.

• Site visits and inspection : Contributed to daily site visit in a refinery during my internship at Hengyuan Refining Company (HRC) to assist the inspectors inspecting static equipment (column, heat exchanger, vessels) as per inspection schedule for preventive maintenance.

• Risk Based Inspection : Effectively collaborated with inspectors to manage a Risk Based Inspection (RBI) workshop for an off-plot unit.
