An accomplished Senior Structural Engineer with 16+ years of experience in the design of Offshore Steel Structures (Greenfield/Brownfield) involving design, analysis and detailed engineering.
Currently employed in Technip Energies in Doha, Qatar since Nov2021 as Senior Structural Engineer for Ponticelli/NOC project.
Worked in TechnipFMC based in Abu Dhabi, UAE for 8+ years and held responsibilities as Lead and Senior Structural Engineer on number of key projects. Work involved conceptual phase, FEED, EPC and EPIC projects for the design of a variety of offshore structures and facilities, such as jackets, piled foundations, topsides modules, integrated decks, bridges, flare structures, pipeline risers and constructability.
Key responsibilities in the role as Lead/Senior Engineer included management of technical interfaces between the project team and client representatives, certification authorities, sub-contractors, workshare with other engineering and design office locations. Performed various in Vendor items Technical Bid Evaluation and Proposals activities involving Manhours/Deliverables estimation.
Clients included: ONGC, ADMA-OPCO, ZADCO, DPE, OXY, NOVATEK, MODEC/EQUINOR and PONTICELLI/NOC.
Construction experience includes grillage & seafastening designs and barge strength checks for piles, jacket, boatlanding and topside. Lift rigging design involving padeye, sling and shackle.
Conversant in Weight Engineering procedures and practices for offshore structures. A seasoned individual in weight control management and reporting with experience in a wide array of jackets, topsides and module assemblies for offshore structures.
Experience in use of structural software’s such as SACS, Basic ANSYS Workbench and Microsoft office tools. Familiar and experienced in use of international codes like API RP2A, AISC, and other documents viz DNV GL.
