He has over 23 years of industrial experience working in energy and utilities industry performing inspection, assessment and providing specialist advice/solution, leadership and mentoring in quality, with over 17 years in the capacity of supervisor up to acting Company Site Representative (CSR). He is a Welding/NDT Inspector by training, however for the most part of his career as a quality personnel, most of the time he dealt with multi disciplinary missions.
His high proficiency in welding QC therefore, is strongly backed by demonstrated competencies and knowledge in other associated disciplines i.e. structural, piping, mechanical packages equipment (static and common rotating equipment), Mechanical Joints Integrity, protective coatings and vibration basics. He is also stands in as a Construction Supervisor when required, with significant contribution to the field works progress.
Consistently upgrading his career where from year 2008 onwards he continued as a quality team member represented esteemed end users and EPCC such as PETRONAS, Woodside Energy, Eni, Shell, Saipem and Foster Wheeler etc. In year 2012 he was heavily involved in subsea projects performed vendor surveillance for the manufacturing of drilling and wells completion equipment such as wellheads, Christmas trees (XT) including its associated equipment and tools, Subsea Control Modules (SCM), production manifolds and pipelines (WPQT/WQT and multi joints fabrication).
Extensive hands on experiences in multiple disciplines and project cycles has made him versatile, adaptable to the fast track project environment, able to anticipate problems and further provide solutions in wider perspective besides make timely decisions in daily activities relevant to the specific project. He had attained distinguished track records in delivering Quality Management System (QMS) programs through his commitment towards “Do It Right First Time” and continuous improvement in numerous major projects related to hydrocarbon processing equipment and facilities ranging from greenfield development to brownfield modification (including plants reconstruction, rejuvenation, revamp and turnaround).
