I have 20 years experience as a Quality Engineer in the field of welding, piping, Structural, inspection & Testing Process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Witnessing of Procedure Qualification Test and Welder Qualification Test.
- Inspection of welding consumables and equipment’s, checking of storage and baking of electrodes, verifying all welding parameters according to approved WPS.
- Preparation/Maintaining of QA/QC documents such as Fabrication Procedure, Inspection and Test Plan, Work Instruction
- Stage Inspections is done (before, during & After welding process).
- Prepare weld mapping of isometric drawings, dimension and material check of computed spools.
- Preparing inspection reports and other relevant documents.
- Involved in Scheduling, Monitoring & coordinating with NDT Technicians.
- Co-ordinate with construction, testing group and QC department in the preparation test requirement of each test pack and facile close out of any outstanding punch items.
