Specializes in planning and routing of piping for the engine room of the ship as per Japan International Standards and other standards as well. Makes man-hour quotations, prepares Engineering schedule & assigns staff suited for the job. Submits quality outputs, on-time delivery, and is responsible for the prompt reply to customer's feedback and inquiries. Ensures the detailed outputs of drawings are ready for delivery with quality by supervising juniors/design technicians on the detailing part. Analyzes prepare and file 2D computer-aided drawings for the engine room of the vessels. Applies 2D computer-aided drawings to 3D output using MATES Software and/or CADMATICS Marine Design Software. Conduct daily standup meetings, monitor and check members' output, and analyze errors to create countermeasures. Oversees design technicians on their output drawings for consultation with other departments and prior to submission to the yard for fabrication and assembly.
