Scope of work

Responsibilities (Obligation to ensure that the action is taken): • Perform engineering design appraisal for electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication for ensuring compliance with relevant International Codes and Standards; • Support design appraisal of other disciplines; • Perform Ex Certification and Inspection work; • Perform necessary oil and gas project audit, support plant assurance and FFS projects; • Mobilise and work at onshore and offshore sites as required; • Delegate and provide technical supports to other Engineers in the team; • Prepare quality final deliverables upon project completion; • Take part in special interest studies/initiatives/work groups; • Assist in achieving department's financial targets; • Assist department in preparing accurate and competitive proposal; • Interact with client on project matters and business development; • Understand and achieve all BV QHSE KPIs Requirements: Education: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Language: Fluent in English Working experience: (a) At least 8 years oil and gas related activities (b) Well verse in International Design Codes and Standards and COMPANY Specifications (c) Knowledgeable in EX hazardous area, earth bonding, lightning protection system, fire and gas detection, shutdown system, functional safety SIL, emergency/escape lighting, UPS, emergency power, emergency communication Professional accreditation / Qualification: BEM registered Engineer Computer: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS) and PDF Familiarity with appropriate computer software (ETAP or equivalent etc.) Contract Type: Permanent Job Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
