Job Summary:

The Senior Instrument Engineer plays a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems within the organization. This senior-level position involves leading instrument engineering activities, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. The Senior Instrument Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages instrumentation projects, and contributes to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Instrumentation Design:

  • Lead and contribute to the design and specification of instrumentation and control systems for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Develop instrument datasheets, specifications, and drawings.

Project Leadership:

  • Lead instrument engineering teams, providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Instrumentation Planning:

  • Develop instrumentation project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Participate in the planning and coordination of instrument engineering activities.

Technical Expertise:

  • Apply advanced knowledge of instrumentation principles, standards, and technologies to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in instrumentation and control systems.

Vendor Management:

  • Interface with instrument suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Evaluate technical bids, participate in vendor selection, and ensure compliance with project specifications.



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.


  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in position EPC/EPCIC
  • Minimum twelve (12) years’ experience in oil & gas including FLNG/LNG/FPSO
  • Proven experience in a senior or lead engineering role.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Proficiency in instrumentation design software and tools.
