Job Description: Senior Telecommunication Engineer (PMC Project) Location: Jakarta, Indonesia Duration: 6 months during FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) phase, followed by 3 years if FID (Final Investment Decision) is made to proceed with the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) phase. Company Overview: We are a prominent Project Management Consultancy (PMC) firm specializing in the telecommunication sector. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Telecommunication Engineer to join our team for a significant Onshore LNG Plant project in Jakarta. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the project's success by overseeing the telecommunication systems' design, implementation, and integration. Responsibilities: 1. Provide expert technical guidance and leadership in telecommunication engineering for the Onshore LNG Plant project. 2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop detailed engineering designs and specifications for telecommunication systems, including fiber optic networks, wireless communication systems, CCTV, public address systems, access control systems, and other related infrastructure. 3. Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate telecommunication technologies and equipment to ensure they meet project requirements and industry standards. 4. Prepare and review technical documents, including telecom system design drawings, equipment specifications, tender documents, and technical reports. 5. Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, technical bid evaluation, and contract negotiation for telecommunication systems and equipment. 6. Monitor and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunication systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, schedule, and quality standards. 7. Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical support to resolve any telecommunication-related issues or challenges. 8. Collaborate with client representatives, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. 9. Review and approve design change requests, variation orders, and technical submittals related to telecommunication systems. 10. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are advantageous. 2. Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunication engineering in EPC projects, preferably with experience in Onshore LNG Plants. 3. Familiarity with shipbuilding projects such as FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas), FSRU (Floating Storage Regasification Unit), or FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) is highly desirable. 4. Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems, including fiber optics, wireless communication, CCTV, public address systems, access control systems, and related infrastructure. 5. Proficient in using telecommunication design software and tools. 6. Extensive experience in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and standards. 7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced project environment. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. 9. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and resolve telecommunication-related issues. 10. Willingness to travel to the project site as required.
