Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Utilities Engineer to play a pivotal role in our oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong preference for those experienced in FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading), FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading), and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. Proficiency in P&ID (Process and Instrumentation Diagram) design is essential for this role. Responsibilities: 1. Process Utilities System Design: - Lead and contribute to the design and engineering of process utilities systems, including water treatment, HVAC, power generation, and other utility systems. - Develop and review P&IDs to ensure accurate representation of process utilities. 2. P&ID Development and Review: - Proficiently develop and review P&IDs, ensuring alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize P&ID designs. 3. EPC Project Support: - Provide process utilities engineering expertise to EPC projects, contributing to the development of comprehensive engineering practices. - Work closely with project teams to integrate process utilities designs into overall project plans. 4. Safety and Environmental Compliance: - Ensure that process utilities systems comply with safety and environmental regulations and industry standards. - Collaborate with HSE teams to implement and maintain safe utilities practices. 5. Equipment Specification and Procurement: - Specify and procure process utility-related equipment, ensuring alignment with project objectives, quality standards, and budget constraints. - Evaluate suppliers and participate in the selection of contractors for utility installations. 6. Commissioning and Testing: - Oversee the commissioning of process utility systems, ensuring functionality and adherence to design specifications. - Plan and conduct tests to verify the reliability and efficiency of utility components. 7. Maintenance Support: - Contribute to the development of maintenance strategies for utility systems, ensuring reliability and longevity. - Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving utility-related issues during operations. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. 2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in process utilities engineering within the oil and gas industry. 3. Experience in FPSO, FSO, and EPC projects is advantageous. 4. Proficiency in P&ID design and interpretation. 5. Knowledge of international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. 8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
