Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Package Engineer to lead and contribute to our oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong preference for those experienced in FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading), FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas), and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. Responsibilities: 1. Package Engineering Leadership: - Lead the mechanical package engineering team, overseeing the design, selection, and integration of various mechanical packages for oil and gas facilities. - Ensure packages comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. 2. Technical Design and Analysis: - Conduct detailed technical design and analysis of mechanical packages, including compressors, pumps, turbines, and other rotating equipment. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize package designs. 3. Vendor Management: - Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the selection and procurement of high-quality mechanical packages. - Participate in the evaluation and selection of equipment suppliers. 4. EPC Project Support: - Provide mechanical package engineering expertise to EPC projects, contributing to the development of comprehensive engineering practices. - Collaborate with project teams to align package designs with overall project goals. 5. Quality Assurance: - Implement and enforce quality assurance processes related to mechanical package engineering activities. - Conduct inspections and tests to verify the integrity and reliability of mechanical packages. 6. Cost Management: - Contribute to cost estimation and control for mechanical packages, ensuring alignment with project budgets. - Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. 7. Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure that mechanical packages comply with international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. - Stay informed about industry advancements and regulations related to mechanical packages. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical package engineering within the oil and gas industry. 3. Experience in FPSO, FLNG, and EPC projects is advantageous. 4. Proficiency in engineering design software and tools. 5. Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. 6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 7. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. 8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
