Scope of work
We are looking for a skilled Process Drafter to join our team for a FEED (Front End Engineering Design) project in the oil and gas industry. The Process Drafter will play a crucial role in creating detailed process drawings and diagrams that are essential for the design and engineering of oil and gas facilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in FEED projects and possess strong drafting skills and a deep understanding of process engineering principles.
1. Collaborate with process engineers and designers to create detailed process drawings, flow diagrams, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) for the FEED project.
2. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards and project specifications in all process drawings.
3. Interpret process engineering data, calculations, and design concepts to produce clear and concise drawings that accurately represent the process systems.
4. Maintain a comprehensive library of process drawings and documentation to facilitate project design and execution.
5. Work closely with other drafting and design teams, including mechanical, electrical, and structural, to integrate process drawings into the overall project design.
6. Assist in the review and modification of process drawings based on feedback from engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
7. Stay updated with industry best practices, codes, and standards related to process drafting in the oil and gas sector.
8. Collaborate with document control teams to ensure proper storage, organization, and retrieval of process drawings and documentation.
9. Participate in project meetings, providing input and expertise on process drafting matters.
1. Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Process Drafter, with specific experience in FEED projects within the oil and gas industry.
3. Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, for process drafting.
4. Strong knowledge of process engineering principles and the ability to interpret engineering data and calculations.
5. Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), and process equipment symbols.
6. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality process drawings.
7. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary project team.
8. Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and practices in the oil and gas industry is a plus.
9. Familiarity with document control and management processes for engineering drawings and documentation.
