Expert Fabrication Welder with 15 years extensive hands-on experience in MIG and TIG welding,
seeking to take next career step with a respected manufacturer focused on the lead, develop, and
supervise on site mechanical technicians. Highly skilled in operating wide array of shop and welding
tools, schematic interpretation, and development, and understand material properties of sheet
metals. History of success in guiding teams towards the achievement of fabrication project deadlines
while improving and sustaining high quality standards.
Core Qualifications
For expert MIG and TIG Welding with 6G welding technique.
Blueprint and Schematic Interpretation
Metal fabrication, SS, carbon steel and aluminums fabrication
Read and develop blueprint for fabrication
Interpret blueprints, and schematics and MIG or TIG weld parts as defined in
specification sheets.
Position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly using straightedges,
combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
Monitor fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating, warping, shrinking,
distortion, or expansion of material.
Examine completed work for defects and measure pieces with straightedges and templates
to ensure conformance with specifications, report nonconforming material to team leader
for quality assurance.
Be able to develop, read and reinforce welding standards and procedures
Qualifications
Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Fabrication, Machining and Welding technology)
At least 15-20 years experience (Mechanical Fabrication, Machining and Welding in Oil &
Gas and Chemical Plant or Heavy Industry)
Ability to read and understand technical drawing, manuals, and checklist etc.
Experienced in CBM tools and software.
