Scope of work
Reporting directly to the CEO of the client, the EHS Group Manager is responsible for ensuring health, safety and environment at the client site and at the customer site during commissioning activities:
3 business units;
160 employees in 3 countries to date & an ambitious recruitment plan for 2022;
Management of 2 safety coordinators on the industrial sites + 1 in support of the Services teams on the customer site; Functional support to the Production Manager.
Design and coordinate the implementation of all policies and procedures to support a world class EHS management system;
Lead the implementation of awareness and training campaigns focused on key safety risks;
Support / coach / challenge operations in their risk analysis and mitigation plans;
Support/coach/challenge client site service/commissioning teams in their analysis or risks and mitigation plans;
Coordinate with product safety teams and ensure appropriate feedback process for equipment designs;
Facilitate the RCA processes for any serious EHS accidents/incidents;
Lead / support the ISO certification processes;
Ensure proper reporting according to OHSAS rules.
Main Skills & Profile
Engineering degree or Master in EHS with technical knowledge;
Field experience in safety management on SEVESO or similar sites (oil and gas / manufacturing industry);
Experience in project management, commissioning activities, EPC activities;
Fluent English, Italian or German a plus;
Familiarity with BBS or similar programmes;
Proven experience in safety improvement;
Practical approach and ability to interact with different cultures.
Full time permanent position based in Grenoble;
Frequent travel in France and Europe;
Salary package consisting of a gross salary and a bonus.
