Senior Structural Engineer (FPSO) - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and evaluating offshore structures, with a focus on FPSO and Topsides. The role will also require proficiency in the use of SACS (Structural Analysis Computer System) software to ensure that designs meet regulatory and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop structural designs and provide technical guidance for offshore structures, including FPSOs and Topsides Utilize SACS software to analyze and evaluate structural designs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and codes Collaborate with other engineers and project teams to ensure that structural designs meet project requirements and timelines Participate in the development of project proposals, budgets, and timelines Develop and maintain technical documentation, including calculations, drawings, and reports Conduct technical reviews of structural designs and reports prepared by other engineers or consultants Provide technical support during construction and installation activities, including on-site inspections, testing, and troubleshooting Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field At least 8-10 years of experience in the design and analysis of offshore structures, with a focus on FPSOs and Topsides Proficiency in the use of SACS software for structural analysis and design Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards, such as API and DNV Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
