Scope of work
Position Overview:
As a CMS/ICSS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team dedicated to delivering excellence in the field of Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) and related projects. Based in Shanghai, you will initially work in our offices and transition to on-site duties at shipyards during project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive design specifications for Continuous Management Systems (CMS) and Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) in FLNG projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of system designs with project requirements.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of CMS and ICSS systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CMS and ICSS systems.
- Develop preventive maintenance plans to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of systems.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and shipyard personnel.
- Communicate effectively to ensure seamless integration of CMS and ICSS systems into overall project objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to CMS and ICSS systems.
- Ensure that all systems comply with relevant safety and environmental requirements.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system manuals, reports, and as-built drawings.
- Provide regular progress reports to project management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a focus on CMS and ICSS systems.
- Proven expertise in FLNG, FPSO, FSO, Topsides, and Hull projects.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
