Senior Structural Designer (Offshore Projects) - Dubai

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer with a minimum of 10 years of expertise in structural design for offshore projects. The role entails contributing to two critical projects: an FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) and jacket monopile designs for offshore wind farms. The selected candidate will employ their proficiency in AutoCAD 2D to create accurate and efficient structural designs that meet industry standards and project requirements. Project Details: - Project Types: FPSO and Jacket Monopile for Offshore Wind Farms - Duration: 2 to 4 months - Work Type: Office-based in Dubai - Accommodation and transportation will be covered Key Responsibilities: - Extensive experience in structural design to conceptualize, develop, and detail structural components for both FPSO and offshore wind farm jacket monopile projects. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that structural designs align with project specifications, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements. - Generate detailed 2D designs using AutoCAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards. - Contribute to the creation of technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for various structural elements, considering factors like load distribution, stress analysis, and fabrication feasibility. - Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to address design modifications, resolve issues, and provide innovative solutions. - Ensure that all design documents and drawings are maintained in compliance with company and industry standards. Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design for offshore projects, demonstrating a solid track record of successful designs and project execution. - Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D software, enabling the creation of accurate and detailed structural drawings. - In-depth knowledge of FPSO and jacket monopile design principles, load analysis, and fabrication processes. - Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in structural design for offshore applications. - Strong analytical skills to assess design feasibility, evaluate stress factors, and optimize structural integrity. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey design concepts clearly. - Proven ability to work within project timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality standards.
