Scope of work
- The Lead Naval Engineer shall be responsible for, and provides the direction of, the naval design
for the floatover barge of integrated offshore wellhead and central processing topside (WHCPP)
by developing naval designs, drawings, performing analysis, and reviewing and implementing
design criteria, specifications, government regulations, and industry codes and practice.
To meet the minimum requirements of this position, the Lead Naval Engineer shall possess/have:
- Minimum Bachelor of engineering degree in Marine Engineering or Ocean/Offshore Engineering or Naval Engineering;
- At least ten (10) years of relevant working experience as Senior Naval Engineer in offshore oil and gas facilities projects with project’s scope covering engineering design, having knowledge in fabrication, construction and installation;
- Held the position of/experience as the Lead/Principal Naval Engineer responsible for the design, analysis and review of ship/barge design for Central Processing Platform (CPP) float-over barge at least one (1) FEED/DED projects for Central Processing Platform (CPP) with Float-over Installation Method;
- Experience in the use of related engineering software packages applicable to naval designs
