Scope of work

Responsibilities: - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in utilities systems, including power generation, water treatment, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and other relevant utility systems. - Provide technical leadership in the design, simulation, and optimization of utilities processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate utilities systems seamlessly into overall facility design. - Lead the utilities engineering efforts throughout all project phases, from conceptual design and feasibility studies to detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup. - Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to project execution. - Apply specialized knowledge in FLNG, LNG, and FPSO technologies to address specific challenges related to utilities systems. - Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures for utilities systems on offshore facilities. - Collaborate with the EPC team to provide input on utilities-related deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and datasheets. - Review and approve engineering documents produced by the EPC contractor, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards. - Implement and promote safety best practices throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that utilities systems meet regulatory and environmental requirements. - Participate in hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies and other safety reviews. - Identify and resolve technical issues related to utilities systems, both proactively and reactively. - Provide guidance to junior engineers and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. - 8-10+ years of relevant experience in process engineering with a focus on utilities systems for offshore projects. - Proven experience in FLNG, LNG, FPSO projects, and EPC activities. - Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes (API, ASME, NFPA, etc.). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Professional engineering license is a plus.
