Scope of work
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop process designs and specifications for offshore FPSO, FLNG, and MOPU facilities.
Conduct process simulations, heat and mass balances, and equipment sizing to optimize production efficiency.
Perform process engineering calculations and evaluate the performance of various equipment and systems.
Assist in the development and review of P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and process flow diagrams.
Support the commissioning and start-up activities of offshore facilities, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Identify and troubleshoot process-related issues, recommending appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, operations, and maintenance, to enhance process performance and reliability.
Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in offshore oil and gas production.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
3-4 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge and understanding of FPSO, FLNG, and MOPU operations.
Familiarity with offshore production processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus) and other relevant engineering tools.
Ability to perform process calculations, analyze data, and generate technical reports.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Willingness to work offshore as required and adapt to changing project demands.
