Project Engineer - Shanghai, China

Position Overview: As a Project Engineer specializing in Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG), you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our projects from conception to completion. Your expertise in FLNG, FPSO, FSO, Topsides, Hull, and related areas will be critical in ensuring the seamless integration of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines. Oversee the execution of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases for FLNG projects. Leverage your in-depth knowledge of FLNG, FPSO, FSO, Topsides, Hull, and related systems to guide project teams. Provide technical leadership in addressing design challenges, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, and commissioning, to ensure seamless project integration. Coordinate with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive project success. Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to prevent delays and ensure the timely delivery of project milestones. Implement robust quality control measures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold the highest quality standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in project engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on FLNG, FPSO, FSO, Topsides, Hull, etc. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Proven track record of successful project management and delivery. Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
