JOB SUMMARY:

The Lead Process Engineer (Inside Battery Limits) position is pivotal for our client's PMC (Project Management Consultancy) project based in Singapore. We seek a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy industry to oversee ISBL activities. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of the project, adhering to quality standards and project timelines. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute expertise and leadership to a dynamic project environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage all Inside Battery Limits (ISBL) activities within the onshore refinery project.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of ISBL activities with project objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize ISBL processes and enhance project efficiency.
  • Monitor and control ISBL project budget, expenditures, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee procurement activities related to ISBL, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to review designs and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Manage contractor relationships, including performance evaluation and contract negotiation.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance within the ISBL scope.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ISBL team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting key ISBL achievements and challenges.


REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 11 years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on ISBL activities within refinery projects.
  3. Proven track record of successfully leading ISBL teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  4. Strong understanding of refinery processes, equipment, and technologies.
  5. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  7. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a focus on fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  8. Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  9. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  10. Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities.
