QC Engineer

Responsibilities: • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures and identify areas for improvement. • quality assurance audits and to identify defects or non-conformities, and implement corrective actions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and customer service, to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product development lifecycle. • Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality control plans. • Train and mentor junior QAQC engineers and provide guidance on quality control best practices. • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance quality control processes and reduce costs. • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish and maintain quality standards and resolve any quality-related issues. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. • Proven experience as a QAQC Engineer or a similar role in a manufacturing or construction industry. • In-depth knowledge of quality control principles and practices, including ISO standards and quality management systems. • ity with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, API, etc.). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to a high level of quality control documentation. • Proficient in using quality control tools such as statistical process control (SPC), lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and train junior QAQC engineers. • Knowledge of quality control software and tools is a plus.
