Scope of work
Main Responsibilities:
Review contract work scope and specifications with a particular emphasis on floating systems (FLNG, FPSO, FPU, etc.).
Progress reporting and budget management related to the specific scope, ensuring alignment with floating systems standards.
Ensure that Engineering work adheres to specified Project requirements and industry standards, especially those relevant to floaters.
Cascade Knowhow and expertise on floating systems to Project and Field Engineers working under supervision.
Provide recommendations to the Sr. Project Manager for the resolution of technical problems specific to floating systems.
Assist the Project Sr. Buyer with the technical aspects of supplies and/or subcontracts related to floaters, including requisitions and technical bid comparisons.
Produce an updated list of deliverables (MDR) of the dedicated discipline with a focus on floating systems and determine progress.
Establish all necessary calculation notes, requisitions, drawings, procedures, and Task Plans specifically required for floating systems.
Ensure a suitable level of detail and scope is included in procedures related to floating systems before being issued for review.
Identify critical parts of the floating systems scope of work and inform the Sr. Project Manager.
Participate in engineering coordination meetings, providing inputs/outputs related to floating systems.
Ensure suitability of all installation aids and equipment specific to floating systems scope.
Liaise with appropriate engineering departments for the design, fabrication, testing, and delivery of installation aids related to floating systems.
Coordinate with Project Engineers, Construction Manager, and Logistics team for the collection, load out, and transportation of materials related to floaters.
Organize and conduct site visits to various project locations with a focus on HSE, especially regarding floating systems.
Work with structural/design/analysis engineers to compile suitable installation/removal aids for floating systems, including pad eyes, lift rigging, Barge/Vessel Sea fastening, and bumper frames.
Supervise discipline engineers, ensuring compliance with specific standards for pipeline production and structure installation works related to floating systems.
Operations:
Participate actively in the operational phase, including mobilizations, site visits, SITs, and presence on the installation vessel as required.
HSEQ:
Collaborate with the Project HSE Team and the Project Management team to ensure that all areas of the project operations conform to applicable HSE plans, especially those specific to floating systems.
Implement all activities following the requirements of the company, Project Quality Management System, and Project Contractual requirements, giving utmost attention to HSE in floaters-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:
7 to 10 years of working experience in related job positions, with a strong preference for experience in floating systems within the Oil & Gas Industry.
Ability to communicate and implement HSE Management Systems at all levels of employees within the organization, particularly in the context of floaters.
Qualifications & Certifications:
Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven skills in T&I Projects, Oil & Gas Industry, Commissioning & Decommissioning, with a specific focus on floating systems.
Contract Duration:
This is a 1-year contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
