As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Engineering Manager to join our team. Job Description: - As the Project Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of our FPSO projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing all engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, technical specifications, and quality standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects and ensuring the highest level of engineering excellence. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of multidisciplinary engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the project lifecycle. - Oversee the engineering design, procurement, and construction activities of FPSO projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - Develop and implement project plans, defining engineering deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, operations, procurement, and clients, to ensure effective communication and alignment of project objectives. - Conduct regular project reviews to monitor progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement appropriate mitigation measures. - Ensure effective utilization of engineering resources, optimizing efficiency and productivity while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovative engineering solutions and best practices across the organization. - Participate in technical meetings, client presentations, and industry conferences to represent the company's engineering capabilities and contribute to business development efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Proven experience (15 years) in project engineering management within the FPSO industry or a similar offshore oil and gas environment. Strong technical background in disciplines relevant to FPSO projects, such as topside facilities, marine systems, hull structures, process systems, or automation. In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices pertaining to FPSO engineering and operations. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Excellent project management abilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Fluency in English; proficiency in Norwegian is a plus.
