Process Draftsman

Responsibilities: Develop and prepare detailed process engineering drawings, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), equipment layouts, and other relevant technical documents for FPSO, FLNG, and MOPU projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and designers, to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of project specifications. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other drafting tools to create and modify technical drawings. Adhere to industry standards, codes, and practices while preparing the drawings to ensure compliance and quality. Conduct thorough reviews and verification of drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on the progress of drafting activities and addressing any technical queries or concerns. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum of X years of experience working as a Process Draftsman in the oil and gas industry. Solid understanding of process engineering principles and familiarity with FPSO, FLNG, and MOPU projects. Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of offshore operations, including safety protocols and industry standards. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the highest quality in drafting deliverables. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to meet project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience specifically in FPSO, FLNG, or MOPU projects. Familiarity with international codes and standards related to offshore oil and gas industry. Experience with 3D modeling software, such as PDMS or E3D. Knowledge of relevant software tools for drawing management and documentation.
