Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Coordinator to join our offshore projects team. As an Engineering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the coordination and execution of engineering activities for FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading), FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas), and MOPU (Mobile Offshore Production Unit) projects. Your expertise in offshore engineering, project coordination, and knowledge of the oil and gas industry will be essential to ensure the successful delivery of our offshore projects. Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate and oversee engineering activities throughout the lifecycle of FPSO, FLNG, and MOPU projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards. 2. Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for offshore projects. 3. Assist in the evaluation of project requirements, technical specifications, and engineering designs to ensure feasibility and compliance with industry standards. 4. Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively implement corrective measures to ensure project milestones are achieved. 5. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, procurement, and construction teams. 6. Review and evaluate technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor proposals, to support procurement activities. 7. Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables and resolve any technical issues that may arise. 8. Support project risk assessments, change management, and quality assurance processes to minimize project risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations. 9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and standards to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. 10. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in offshore engineering to drive innovation and optimize project outcomes. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field). Advanced degree preferred. 2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering coordination roles, preferably in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years of experience specifically in offshore projects. 3. Strong knowledge of offshore engineering principles, including structural design, fluid dynamics, and marine systems. 4. Familiarity with FPSO, FLNG, and MOPU projects, including their design, construction, installation, and commissioning processes. 5. Proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, and resource management. 6. Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving engineering-related issues. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. 9. Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., API, DNV, ABS) and regulatory requirements for offshore operations. 10. Valid certifications and licenses for offshore work (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) are preferred.
