On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer responsible for planning activities related to projects and tenders, including baseline setup, progress reporting, forecasting, and interfacing with other disciplines. Key responsibilities include running planning activities, proposing project-specific procedures, organizing flow of planning information, developing and maintaining baseline schedules, preparing progress reports, forecasting schedules, identifying deviations and corrective actions, and proposing additional reporting or management tools.
The role involves establishing relationships with clients, consortium/J.V. partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders such as the tendering team, project management team, vessels operations manager, and offshore resources. Preferred qualifications include a degree in engineering and administrative discipline, proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project software, and 10-15 years of experience as a planning engineer in the oil & gas, subsea, or civil construction industry.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge in planning and engineering practices, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and organize work, and effective communication skills. Additionally, a good understanding of onshore/offshore construction in the oil & gas or renewables industries is required.
