Scope of Work

Our client is looking for an experienced Subsea Structural Engineer to join their team for a 3-month mission supporting FEED-phase projects. This role requires specialized expertise in Subsea Structures, distinct from traditional or offshore structural engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in subsea engineering and a deep understanding of the design and analysis of subsea components and systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in the design and analysis of Subsea Structures during the FEED phase.
  • Develop engineering solutions for subsea facilities such as manifolds, foundations, protection structures, and tie-in systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant subsea codes, standards, and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including flow assurance, pipelines, and subsea production systems.
  • Conduct structural analysis and ensure structural integrity in complex subsea environments.
  • Support risk assessments and ensure engineering designs meet safety and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering, with significant exposure to Subsea Structures.
  • Strong understanding of subsea design principles and relevant industry standards (API, DNV, ISO, etc.).
  • Experience with FEED-phase projects in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis tools (e.g., SACS, ANSYS, or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
