Scope of work
Responsibilities:
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures in the design, construction, and operation of offshore oil and gas facilities.
Develop and maintain process safety documentation, including Process Safety Management (PSM) programs, Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments, and Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies.
Collaborate with project teams to establish safety criteria and incorporate safety considerations into project designs.
Conduct safety audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with national and international safety regulations and company policies.
Provide technical support and guidance to engineering and operational teams on process safety matters.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent future incidents.
Deliver process safety training and promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
Continuously monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging process safety technologies to ensure that Technip Energies remains at the forefront of process safety best practices.
Participate in regular project meetings, providing timely updates on process safety performance and progress towards project objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in process safety engineering within the oil and gas industry, preferably in offshore projects.
Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to process safety, such as API, IEC, and ISO.
Familiarity with safety analysis techniques, such as HAZOP, LOPA, and FMEA.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety concerns.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, and fault tree analysis software.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
