Senior Process Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Process Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a key role in leading process engineering activities for FPSO, FLNG, and MOPU projects in offshore environments. Your expertise will contribute to the successful design, optimization, and operation of production facilities. Responsibilities: Lead and execute process engineering tasks for FPSO, FLNG, and MOPU projects, from conceptual design to detailed engineering. Develop and review process deliverables, including P&IDs, process simulation models, and process control narratives. Conduct process simulations, heat and material balances, and hydraulic calculations to optimize process design and performance. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers, to integrate process systems effectively. Perform process safety reviews, such as HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) and HAZID (Hazard Identification), to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and actively contribute to their professional development. Support procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities for offshore production facilities. Monitor and evaluate process performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and propose solutions to improve plant efficiency and reliability. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to FPSO, FLNG, and MOPU operations. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver process engineering solutions that meet their needs. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate process engineering concepts and recommendations effectively. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry. Strong experience in FPSO, FLNG, or MOPU projects and offshore operations. Profound expertise in process engineering principles, process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS or similar), and process safety methodologies. Proven track record of successfully delivering process engineering projects within budget and schedule. In-depth knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations governing offshore production facilities. Familiarity with the design, operation, and maintenance of topsides process systems, including separation, compression, and utilities. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex process issues and propose effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
