Job Summary:

The Senior Interface Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing interface management for a PMC project in the energy sector, specifically focusing on a greenfield refinery project in Singapore. Operating within the FEED and detailed design phases, the incumbent will ensure seamless coordination between various stakeholders to optimize project efficiency and minimize risks.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead interface management activities to facilitate smooth communication and coordination among project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement interface management plans to identify, track, and resolve interface issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define interface requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Conduct regular interface meetings to assess progress, address challenges, and prioritize actions for resolution.
  • Evaluate potential interface conflicts and propose mitigation strategies to maintain project schedule and budget.
  • Review project documentation and deliverables to verify compliance with interface requirements and standards.
  • Act as a focal point for interface-related inquiries and facilitate timely resolution of issues raised by stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on interface management best practices to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor changes in project scope and assess their impact on interface management, recommending adjustments as necessary.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate interface status, risks, and recommendations to project leadership and stakeholders.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in interface management within the energy industry, preferably in greenfield, onshore, and refinery projects.
  • Proven experience in FEED and detailed design phases of large-scale projects, with a focus on interface coordination.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaborative relationships among diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and address potential interface conflicts.
  • Proficiency in interface management tools and software applications.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations related to interface management and project execution.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing effectively to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required by project needs.
