Scope of work
- 3D Modeling and Design: You will use 3D design software and tools to create detailed telecom models and designs for the FPSO project. This includes developing accurate representations of the data networks, voice communication systems, video surveillance systems, radio communication systems, and other telecom equipment and infrastructure. You will ensure that the models are consistent with project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
- Equipment Placement and Layout: Using 3D modeling techniques, you will determine the optimal placement and layout of telecom equipment onboard the FPSO. This includes positioning network cabinets, routing cables, and ensuring proper connectivity between systems. You will collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate the telecom designs seamlessly into the overall FPSO infrastructure.
- Visualization and Rendering: You will create realistic visualizations and renderings of the telecom systems using 3D software. These visual representations will help stakeholders, including clients and project teams, to visualize and understand the final appearance and functionality of the telecom infrastructure. You will work closely with other designers and engineers to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Clash Detection and Resolution: Using 3D modeling tools, you will conduct clash detection analyses to identify potential clashes or conflicts between telecom systems and other elements of the FPSO design. You will collaborate with other disciplines to resolve these clashes, ensuring that the telecom systems can be installed and operated without interference or conflicts.
- Design Documentation: You will prepare and maintain design documentation related to the 3D models and visualizations. This includes technical specifications, drawings, and reports. You will ensure that the documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with project standards and requirements. The documentation will serve as a reference for construction, installation, and maintenance activities.
- Collaboration and Coordination: You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other designers, engineers, and project stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and coordination of the telecom designs. You will participate in design reviews and meetings to provide input and contribute to the overall success of the project.
- Quality Assurance: You will contribute to quality assurance processes by conducting thorough checks of the 3D designs and visualizations. This includes reviewing the accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications. You will actively participate in quality control initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality 3D designs.
- Compliance and Safety: You will ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, project guidelines, and safety regulations in the 3D design process. You will identify and address any potential safety risks or hazards associated with the telecom systems' placement and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
