Contract Manager

Open to Expatriates Job Summary We are looking for a seasoned Contract Manager to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) Team in Jakarta, focusing on a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) project. The Contract Manager will play a pivotal role in the FEED phase, leading to the Final Investment Decision (FID) expected in 5 to 6 months. If you have experience in FLNG or a combination of FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) and LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), and have a familiarity with the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market, we would love to hear from you. This role is open to expatriates. Responsibilities * Lead contract development processes, including the preparation of tenders, evaluation, negotiation, and award. * Manage contractor relations and act as the key interface between the project team and external vendors. * Ensure compliance with project objectives, guidelines, and regulations. * Monitor and report on contract performance and control contract variations and changes. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the PMC group, including Engineering, Finance, and Legal. * Conduct risk assessments to ensure that contracts are aligned with project goals and mitigate potential risks. * Prepare and present regular contractual and commercial reports to upper management. Qualifications * Minimum of 10 years experience in contract management in Oil & Gas sector. * Proven track record in FLNG or a combination of FPSO and LNG projects. * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or related field. An advanced degree would be a plus. * Experience in the APAC market preferred. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. * Strong analytical and risk management skills. * Proficient in contract management software and tools.
