Scope of work

Key requirements: Must be Malaysian Must have experience in project start-up, construction, and commissioning. At least more than 15 years of experience. Must be able to work independently and good leadership skills. Able to handle multiple task and good relationship with the developer and consultancy. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft project programs will be an advantage. Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principals & techniques. Preferably managerial level specializing in site supervision and engineering - Mechanical Knowledge of various construction methods and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures & tolerance. Job Description: To support the Project Manager / Area Manager / Senior Construction Manager in the specialised area of Building scope of works. To support and advise on the development and implementation of procedures and work instructions for the successful completion of building works. To ensure the project's building works are completed with safety, on time, within budget, and of quality works to the satisfaction of customers and/or consultants. To ensure all relevant technical expertise/knowledge is made available to the site staff. To coordinate Builder’s works to accomplish all the site activities. To liaise with customers, consultants and design team for a continual good relationship. To support, advise, plan, arrange and/or prepare the relevant technical expertise/knowledge required for the projects and distribute as required from time to time. To support and advise on project planning and scheduling and the monitoring of such developed schedules. To assist in the evaluation risk of tender conditions for discussion. To assist in the evaluation Subcontractors' and Suppliers' registration, approval and termination. To inform Contracts Section Head of any changes for him to maintain and update Registered Subcontractors & Suppliers List To implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by our Total Management Systems. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.
