Scope of work

Location: Shanghai, China (with occasional assignments at offices and shipyards) Duration: January 2024 - June 2026 Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee the construction of FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas) projects in Shanghai, China. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the construction process from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: ● Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. ● Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and subcontractors. ● Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. ● Oversee day-to-day construction activities at both office and shipyard locations. ● Monitor progress and quality of construction work, ensuring adherence to project specifications. ● Implement safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. ● Possess a deep understanding of FLNG, FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading), FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading), Topsides, Hull, and related construction techniques. ● Provide technical guidance and solutions to construction challenges. ● Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, including supervisors, engineers, and technicians. ● Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement. ● Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets or exceeds project specifications. ● Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations from quality standards. ● Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization. ● Work closely with the finance team to ensure financial objectives are met. Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. ● Proven experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the FLNG, FPSO, or FSO sector for at least 10 years. ● Strong knowledge of Topsides and Hull construction processes and techniques. ● Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations. ● Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. ● Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
