Scope of work

Currently seeking Onsite Recruiter to join the team on a 12-month contract in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. An ideal candidate should bring a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive HR expertise within the oil and gas industries. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in driving talent acquisition and HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This position demands immediate availability, and the successful candidate will embark on this exciting journey as soon as possible.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting top-tier candidates for various roles within the oil and gas sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, establish recruitment strategies, and implement effective solutions.
  • Serve as a strategic HR, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development within the energy industry framework.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, fostering a collaborative and results-driven HR partnership.
  • Implement innovative HR solutions to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations, adapting HR practices accordingly.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, facilitating smooth integration into the company culture and operations.
  • Continuously analyze and report on HR metrics, providing insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Actively contribute to the development and execution of HR policies, procedures, and programs in line with industry best practices.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Recruiter, specifically within the oil and gas industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of the energy sector, including its unique challenges, trends, and talent requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws and regulations pertaining to the oil and gas sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in executing end-to-end recruitment processes, from candidate sourcing to onboarding.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in providing strategic HR support, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR information.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant professional certifications in HR will be considered an advantage.
