My career began within machine shop and fabrication environments, where I gained over 20 years of hands-on manufacturing experience covering machining, fabrication, mechanical assembly and shop floor inspection. This early career experience provided a strong practical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, tolerances, inspection techniques and equipment fabrication, which I continue to apply when overseeing vendor manufacturing and inspection activities across major energy projects.

Building on this foundation, I progressed into Project Engineering, Project Management and Quality Assurance / Quality Control leadership roles, supporting major capital projects with organisations including Wood, Aker Solutions, AMEC Foster Wheeler, PD&MS Group, KCA Deutag and Sumitomo Corporation.

I have extensive experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle including FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, vendor manufacturing, inspection, installation and commissioning. My technical background spans subsea control systems, wellheads, valves, mechanical equipment, OCTG, piping systems, drilling infrastructure and topsides modifications.

A key strength is the integration of practical manufacturing knowledge with project quality governance, enabling effective management of vendor supply chains and early identification of technical and quality risks. I have significant experience managing global vendor inspection programmes, manufacturing surveillance, FAT oversight, certification compliance and project quality documentation.

I am highly experienced in developing and implementing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), vendor inspection strategies, audit programmes and quality management systems, ensuring compliance with client specifications, international codes and ISO standards.

I am an IRCA Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and a Full Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM), combining practical engineering experience with structured project governance and quality management expertise.

Known for my practical, solutions-driven approach, I work effectively with engineering teams, fabrication facilities, suppliers and client stakeholders to resolve complex technical and quality challenges while maintaining project delivery objectives.

I am available for Project Quality Leadership, QA/QC Manager, Vendor Surveillance Lead or Senior Project Engineering roles across oil & gas, energy and infrastructure projects within UK and international markets.
