I did not get to work as a geologist for my first full-time job but rather as a sampler (General Worker) in which my close colleagues were all from families with hardship and poverty backgrounds.

The experiences were eye-opening as I got to learn working alongside totally different societies and this actually changed me to become an appreciative person. A very low salary became a blessing as time went by when I just focused on the present with my colleagues despite the hardest labor.

I treated the heavy-duty job as a test for me to ace and truly believing in a saying “with hardship comes ease”, really inspires me to keep working regardless of any difficulties. Here I am now being the Mine Manager and life has genuinely been a blessing every single day.

I am fully associated in preparing/planning the operation projects. Also, I am the person in charge on site to make an official statement (Return of Minerals, Mine Compliance Auditing Report and etc.) and report to both Federal Government and State Department. This critical task is done by me as I verify and certify the figures for the company’s Production and Sales.

Liaising with government authorities requires striking a delicate balance between safeguarding the company’s business interests and satisfying regulatory requirements. This responsibility demands a keen understanding of regulatory frameworks, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster trust while ensuring compliance with government expectations.

In addition, I digitally design Mine Planning which includes Resources Estimation, Mine Block, Open Pit Mine, Access Route and etc. using Geological Mining Software.

And of course, I am also very knowledgeable about Drilling Operations since I have been exposed to various kinds of Geological Settings across different parts of Malaysia which are in Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu and now Sarawak.

Over and above, the valuable opportunities and knowledges I have fully gained up to this point of my career have really built my intellectual skills to the next level. I truly believe this is the time for me to bring my expertise for greatness!
