An accomplished Instrumentation and Control Systems Designer with almost 20 years of combined experience in the oil and gas industry, refining, automation production process industries, I have a comprehensive understanding in the application of ISA, IEC, API, NEC, DEP, and other related industry standards, my expertise extends from the Pre-FEED, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Design and brownfield stages.

I excel in the use of instrumentation and control engineering design tools, including Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/Intools), Plant Design System (PDS), Intergraph Smart Plant Review, Microstation, AutoCAD 2D/3D, Autodesk Navisworks, AVEVA instrumentation, and E3D. While my experience with the latter two is introductory, I am eager to expand my proficiency and apply them effectively to streamline project delivery.

One of my key strengths lies in interpreting Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and collaborating with other disciplines to prepare instrumentation and control system deliverables. These encompass cable schedules, instrumentation/electrical/telecom wiring, conventional and foundation fieldbus, Foundation Fieldbus segment checking, DCS/IPS wiring schedules, allocation, loop drawings, instrument index, instrument location plans, instrument data sheets, thermowell design, process and pneumatic hook-ups, installation details, material take-off/requisition, and other detailed construction drawings as required.

I've gained practical experience in programming programmable logic controllers (PLC) using ladder diagrams, as well as a solid foundation in pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic systems. My academic background in measurement, control modes, and operations, along with my familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), has contributed to my proficiency in design and engineering, allowing me to excel in complex design tasks.
