Job Summary:

The Drilling Supervisor will assume a leadership role in overseeing offshore drilling operations in Indonesia, bringing a wealth of experience in both offshore drilling and EPC/EPCIC projects. With a minimum of 10 years of experience, the incumbent will provide guidance and direction to drilling teams, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of drilling activities. This position offers an opportunity to play a pivotal role in the success of drilling operations in the vibrant energy sector of Indonesia.


Job Responsibilities:

1.Supervise offshore drilling operations, including well planning, execution, and optimization, to achieve project objectives and targets.

2.Lead drilling crews and contractors, providing clear instructions and guidance to ensure adherence to safety protocols, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.

3.Collaborate with drilling engineers, geologists, and other stakeholders to develop drilling programs, budgets, and schedules, optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.

4.Monitor drilling progress and performance, analyzing drilling data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

5.Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety audits to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship among drilling personnel.

6.Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for drilling operations.

7.Review and approve drilling-related documentation, including drilling reports, daily drilling logs, and incident reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.

8.Provide technical expertise and support to resolve drilling-related issues and challenges, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.

9.Liaise with regulatory authorities, industry partners, and local communities to address stakeholder concerns, comply with permit requirements, and maintain positive relationships.

10.Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, expenditures, and performance metrics, preparing regular reports and updates for project management and stakeholders.


Job Requirements:

1.Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering, or related field.

2.Minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore drilling, with a focus on EPC/EPCIC projects.

3.Proven track record of supervising drilling operations, preferably in the energy industry.

4.Extensive knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and procedures, with expertise in both exploration and production drilling.

5.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate drilling teams in a dynamic offshore environment.

6.Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

7.Proficiency in drilling software tools and systems, such as WellView, Landmark, or equivalent.

8.Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements in all aspects of drilling operations.

9.Willingness to work offshore on a rotational basis as required by project needs.

10.Familiarity with Indonesian regulations and practices in the energy sector is advantageous.
