Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, geoscientists, procurement, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and regularly monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively address any issues that may arise during project execution.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.
Manage client relationships, address client concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement, and incorporate feedback into future project planning and execution.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
Minimum of 11-15 years of experience in project management within the energy industry, with specific experience in deepwater projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure, delivering on time and within budget.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of deepwater exploration and production processes, technologies, and best practices.
Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and safety protocols governing deepwater projects.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, with the ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations as required.
