Scope of work
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise outfitting engineering activities for FLNG/FPSO projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate outfitting requirements with overall project objectives.
Develop detailed outfitting plans, including material specifications, fabrication schedules, and installation procedures.
Oversee the procurement of outfitting materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on outfitting design concepts, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to facilitate the timely delivery of outfitting components and services.
Monitor and evaluate outfitting activities during construction and commissioning phases, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues.
Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure the safety of outfitting operations.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project team members, fostering their professional development.
Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on outfitting progress and addressing any concerns or requests.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
11-15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a focus on Floating platforms (FLNG/FPSO).
Proven track record of leading outfitting engineering activities for complex projects, preferably within the energy sector.
In-depth knowledge of outfitting principles, practices, and standards applicable to FLNG/FPSO installations.
Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry guidelines governing outfitting design and construction.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Proficiency in project management tools and software applications used in outfitting engineering, such as CAD/CAM, PLM, and ERP systems.
Flexibility to travel as required to project sites and client locations.
Professional certifications or licenses relevant to outfitting engineering and project management are advantageous.
