Structural Designer

About The Role:

It is imperative to independently produce precise 3D modeling, 2D drawings, connections, and detailing that comply with installation and fabrication aspects, design code requirements, and other essential factors for offshore structure projects

Prepare/review Structural Design deliverables such as:

• 3D model Structural scopes

• General Structural Design instructions

• Ensures compliance with the design rules and procedures in force within the company & recognized industry standards concerning design work scopes

• Be effective, efficient, and fit for purpose in the delivery of solutions and drawings

• Originate and check drawings and deliverables (including 3D models) as required by project and engineering teams following project, statutory, and company guidelines to the project schedule

• Interface with other engineering/design disciplines during project execution

• Provide technical guidance to other designers for preparing structural detail drawings

• Travel to the fabrication yard or offshore to assist in fabrication and installation, as required

Profile Requirements/Must have:

• Technical diploma with a minimum of 7 years experience in the Design and execution of projects in offshore facilities

• Mandatory working experience in 3D modelling using E3D software, Aveva, etc

• Knowledge of material take-off and bill of quantities
