AI / IT Engineer

Overview

Maintain and improve the internal dashboard, ship new features, integrate AI agents, and collaborate weekly with end users for our client.

Scope of work

As AI / IT Engineer, you will have full ownership of the internal dashboard critical to our client's operations. You will ensure the dashboard is reliably running and accurate, proactively fixing issues before users notice.

Your work will clear a backlog of improvements, including calendar views, dropdowns for job close reasons, candidate call notes, leads module, client creation fixes, and job tracker links.

You will build and maintain automated email reporting via Supabase, deliver daily/weekly management summaries, and improve recruiter match-score filtering. Integration with external systems like HubSpot through MCP servers and APIs is part of your responsibilities.

Central to the role is advanced use of AI agents for candidate matching and scoring, deciding when AI is appropriate and when traditional queries suffice. Weekly, you will participate in Friday build sessions with recruiters and business development to gather feedback and prioritize feature shipping.

Technology stack includes Supabase (DB, auth, edge functions), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), GitHub, MCP servers/APIs, and a dedicated LLM AI layer. You will build with AI agents like Claude Code or Codex as your main tool, understanding context engineering to manage AI output quality.

Proficiency in SQL, TypeScript, or Python for code reviews is essential. You will be the sole owner of the dashboard with direct communication to end users, no ticket queue or senior engineer oversight. This is not a research or greenfield build role but active maintenance and development in a live environment.

Key requirements

• Use Claude Code or Codex as daily working tool
• Understand context engineering in AI agent harnesses
• Read and write real code in SQL, TypeScript or Python
• Comfortable owning a system as sole responsible engineer
