It is worth mentioning that I have more than 22 years of experience in the E&P industry, I have strong skills in 2D/3D/4D seismic interpretation and seismic modelling, integrated reservoir characterization studies and well planning in many exploration, and development projects. In the first five years of my professional career, I worked as a seismic interpreter on several projects related to development and near-field exploration in BAPETCO (Shell JV in Egypt) and I was seconded for Shell Egypt for four years via Shell’s retention scheme program. I have carried out the seismic interpretation and I generated numerous prospects and leads according to Shell standards and quality assurance workflows. In 2009, I returned to RWE Dea Egypt to work in further active exploration and production licenses, I worked as a seismic modelling specialist using several seismic and rock physics modelling packages and I engaged in many reservoir characterization studies, facies classification in onshore and offshore in Nile Delta, I was involved in many new-venture projects and different farm-in opportunities. Later, I was a key team member in maturing a significant deep-water prospect in the offshore North El-Amirya concession. From 2014 till July 2018, I had my first international assignment as a senior reservoir geophysicist in OMV, for the second time, this time in OMV PETROM S.A in Romania, I was accountable for the entire geophysics activities for different Romanian fields/assets which included both clastic and carbonate reservoirs, heavy oil sand which preserved in very complex and challenging geological settings. At the end of my assignment, I got offered another assignment in OMV Head Office in Viena, but I couldn’t get the needed residency and work permits in Austria. From October 2018 to December 2022, I returned for the third time to Wintershall Dea BU Egypt (Ex. RWE DEA) as a senior geophysicist \ geoscientist, I was mainly accountable for the West Nile Delta project (WND) which is a major development and exploration project in Egypt, I was engaged with our operator BP and integrated asset teams in Hamburg and Sunbury. I was responsible for the subsurface interpretation, assessing the contingent resources, and exploring the potential for the WND phase 2. In 2022, I was promoted in the leadership path as head of the G&G manager in the RDE department with a team of three geoscientists I was responsible and accountable for the onshore and offshore projects/assets related to BU Egypt.
