I am writing to apply for the position Assistant QA/QC Engineer
With my background in welding,inspection And Engineering, I am confident I am
the ideal candidate for this post.I have 15 years of experience in the welding
industry (Tankage, Piping & structural), I have gained a solid understanding of
welding and inspection processes, as well as the ability to make quick and
accurate inspection decisions.
I have certified welding inspector CSWIP 3.1 and ASNT Level-II (RT, PT, UT, MPT,
and RFI)
I am also familiar with various welding codes, such as ASME, API 650, API 653,
AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, ASME sec IX, ASME V, and understand their
requirements for welding. I am also well versed in the inspection of welds for
conformance to these various codes.
I am a detail-oriented person who pays close attention to detail and can
identify any defects or inconsistencies in welds. I have the ability to
communicate effectively with welders and other personnel involved in the welding
process. I am also proficient in the use of various measuring and testing
equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and hardness testers.
