I am a double major PhD holder. I worked as professional senior electrical engineer with more than 30 years rich experience in reputable turnkey project management companies, oil and gas firms as well as the government sector and academic teaching. I have had the opportunity to work across multiple sites (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Korea, France, Italy, Oman Singapore, Azerbaijan and Egypt) that have provided me the opportunity to become familiar with global engineering and business practices. Moreover, in parallel I have worked in the academic filed to train and teach different electrical courses in different countries such as Kuwait, UAE, Romania, Russia and Azerbaijan. My dual Phd certificates have Major subject in "Electrical Power Engineering & Machines", and "Information Technology and Computers". I am Certified Electrical Power Distribution Network Consultant and Six Sigma. My experience has afforded me rich exposure to Pre-FEED, FEED, design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation and maintenance of electrical projects, high value procurement, and supervising installation and commissioning of highly engineered systems. I have successfully led cross-functional project teams and I am very familiar with various codes, standards and regulations – SHELL DEP, GASCO DGS, ARAMCO Standards, Kahrama Standard, KOC standard, and UAE TRANSCO specification and regulations. Most notable is my expertise in EPC contracting, client interactions, front end engineering and design (FEED), quality management, operations and maintenance. Recently, as I am certified Consultant engineer, I have started my Freelance work as Consultant. For electrical Transmission and Distribution Studies. Before that, I have completed my work with WorleyParsons as PMC Electrical Engineer to work in ASORC Naphtha Complex Project, Egypt. Before WorelyParsons, I worked as Senior Electric Engineer with Al Hosn Gas, Abu Dhabi UAE though IDC since 2009, where I supervised electrical support to the 8 Billion USD's Shah Gas development project. I reviewed electrical engineering design including project tender clarifications, and all electrical engineering aspects. Additionally, I was involved from the last phase of the FEED till the pre-commissioning, commission and handover. My responsibility extended to field operation and maintenance support for the last 4 years. My efforts were recognized and I was nominated by the CEO as 'PhD Council' Co-Chairman' for Continual Improvement. I am also an ADNOC approved 'Skill Pool Expert – Electrical for Engineering and OM' representing Al Hosn Gas Co. I was involved in the CAMS program development Project (2014-2015) for UD electrical Engineers. With TRANSCO, I was Al Hosn Gas focal point involved in the preparation of the Power Supply Agreement with TRANSCO. Also, I was assigned as technical reviewer to provide Al Hosn Gas comments on Electricity Transmission System Security Standard & Electricity Transmission Code. Earlier I worked for CCC (Consolidated Contractors Company) across various assignments. These included Lead Design Engineer for EPSO-PED, UAE, Senior Project engineer then Deputy Commissioning Manager for Projects (Ras Laffan Port Expansion-USD 2 billion, and Al-Khafji FPD-1 Onshore Facilities - USD 500 million), and Construction and Commissioning Manager at CCC- Oman for the USD 100 million Isomerization and Refinery Revamp Project. My previous employers include National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC)-UAE (Lead Electrical Engineer) ., Saudi Arabian Texaco-Kuwait (Senior Electrical Engineer), Ministry of Electricity & Water-Kuwait (Electrical engineer) and COMEX-Egypt Application Engineer).
