Overview
We are supporting a specialized ground engineering and geotechnical construction project involving piling, excavation, and marine-related activities. The Safety Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring all site operations are executed in full compliance with HSE regulations, particularly in high-risk environments involving heavy equipment and complex ground conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce site HSE policies in line with DOSH and project requirements
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and toolbox briefings
- Identify risks related to piling, excavation, lifting, and marine activities
- Monitor contractor compliance and intervene in unsafe practices
- Lead incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action implementation
- Maintain proper safety documentation and reporting records
Requirements
- Valid Yellow Book (DOSH) certification
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction or geotechnical projects
- Exposure to piling, marine, or heavy civil works is a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and site enforcement
- Good communication skills to coordinate with site teams
